Content and support lead at DummyTicket24
Reed handles customer support at DummyTicket24 and writes the guides. If you have emailed us about an order, there is a good chance he is the one who wrote back.
He joined in 2024 from Skyscanner, where he spent six years writing the help pages people reach for once a booking has already gone wrong. Before that, customer service at Booking.com in Amsterdam and three years on the support desk at Oracle.
The guides come from the inbox. When the same question keeps coming up, he writes an answer to it, and links to whatever the embassy or the airline actually says so you can go and check for yourself.
Reed has lived in Thailand since 2021 and still gets asked for proof of onward travel on the way in, British passport or not. His partner is Thai, so between them they have put together Schengen, UK and Japanese applications from the applicant’s side of the counter: the bank statements, the itinerary, the appointment at the visa centre, the refusal that arrives with no reason on it.
He is British, studied computing at the University of Surrey, and has worked remotely since 2019. He travels overland when he can, by train and bus rather than plane.
More on the service itself, including what it will not do, is on the about page.
Every guide is written from a registry of facts. Each fact is traced to an official source, a regulation, an embassy page or a ministry site, with the date it was last checked. Those sources appear as numbered references on the article. A claim without a source does not go in.
If something in a guide is wrong or has changed, write to support@dummyticket24.com. Corrections are published with an update note on the article.
